I visited the Boeing plant in October of last year, at that time there were probably around 50 completed planes at the plant and at Boeing Field. Assuming they have produced another 20 since then, there should be 70 planes awaiting modifications and final completions. Won't the initial months have large deliveries of 10 a month or so, to their owners and then drop back to the monthly productions of 3-4 a month?

And the B likes like an 8, so that's 78xx.

Any ideas on the J?

If you're looking for a fixed number per month, you're not really understanding how this works.

Quite right.

the production and delivery per month amount will be totally out for some time as Boeing have had "several" 787s sat around waiting for the type to be certified.

This is why for the next for months you will see a large number of 787 and 747-8F being delivered as once they have received the type certificate all that needed to be done was the final modifications prior to delivery to the customer

And, what is more, the number manufactured each month will change from time to time.

production is to
be 3.5 a month and ramp up to 10 by 2014. considering 850 were ordered thats a 9 year wait, seems like they really need to move to about 15 a month or more.
