Can you go West on BA points to go East?
As I understand it, you can use AA within the states to connect to a BA flight and the Exec Club points remain the same. If I wanted to fly from Atl to say LAX or SFO to connect to a BA flight to London, would they allow a routing like this for the usual 75K 1 way F rate? Would I be allowed to stopover in LAX or SFO?
Also, if there is actually availability out of Atl (or wherever), can you choose to fly out of another gateway or does BA force you to take the direct flight? Thank you in advance!
