BA - Last minute Award Booking
My dad is wanting to make a booking on AA (domestic) using him BA miles as AA charges last minute booking fees... does anyone know if there would be any last minute fees if he uses his BA miles instead??? thanks

There shouldn't be any extra fees. As long as there is availability, you should be OK

Remember that the entire BA redemption is totally unchangeable and cannot be refunded within 24 hours of the first flight. If your redemption is truly "last-minute" it may be good to keep this in mind. For the same reason, be sure to book each leg as one-way instead of combining them as round/return trip.
