Amadeus KVS searching & availability

Amadeus KVS searching & availability
...looking @ a flight from LAX to DPS next April 14th. KVS tool shows lots of availability when searching "Amadeus: Awards/Oneworld" (which I believe is QF's Amadeus link?) ...when searching on BA.com or "Amadeus: Awards/BA-OneWorld" for the same itinerary no such luck.

Is BA engaged in similar tactics to UA's infamous *net blocking? If there is award availability on Amadeus, can the itinerary be called in despite not showing up on BA's website/Amadeus?

What class are you trying to book? There are seats in F showing for that date.

No, but there are system issues with CX Award Availability -- please see the chart in the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/catha...l#post15886718 thread for details.

...nothing comes up when I search KVS on Amadeus: Awards/BA-OneWorld.

Likewise, nothing shows up on BA.com...I can find seats via ba.com on the 17th of April on the route thou. From what I can see, BA.com & KVS on Amadeus: Awards/BA-OneWorld always shows availability on CX metal 3 to 5 days less prior to departure...otherwise its very spotty to find any CX availability.

Will calling BA requesting the specific award seats on CX metal work?

yeah...
...yep, I saw that CX Amadeus also pulls up nearly identical options...then 3-5 days before departure CX metal awards pop up on ba.com/Amadeus OneWorld-BA & matches up with Amadeus OneWorld.

...BA shenanigans or just poorly integrated systems? I'm curious if you can book the award tickets showing up in KVS CX & OneWorld by calling a BA agent (since they dont show up online).

It should be bookable -- please see http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Q32 for tips on dealing with the phone Agents.
