Is 1A on the longhaul 767s always blocked as a crew seat or does it become open to select at any point?

Depends on the route and if they have three pilots.

To Move or Not to Move :-)
Hi Everyone,
Got an upcoming flight to Hong Kong on the A380 on the outbound journey I have picked 50k as 53 A/K are taken which is what I would of chose (I do have 53A on the return
so my question is the options are as follows do I stay in 50A or choose one of the following
56A/K
59 A/K
p.s I am not bothered about this missing windows in 50A, at the end of the day most of the time you would be looking at clouds anyway so cannot see the issue here.
so should I choose a different seat or stay put?
Wondered what you experts think as I have flown CW loads of times but only once on the A380 so wondered if the next cabin along the UD was any better
Thanks!

In the Ying and Yang Club window seats, how visible are you to the flight attendants when the divider is up?
I was wondering if they can see when your glass needs a fill-up. It's one of my pet hates to fly in a premium seat and have to wait a long time for a champagne refill.

777 LHR to ORD. Which are the best seats for a solo traveller? Wide open at the moment.
Thank you.
Thank you.

You need to be seated as far forward as possible as ORD immigrations line can be very long, I would choose a window or aisle in row 11.

Looking for some advice please. Flying on a 3 class 777 48J next week. Are there any significant disadvantages to being in 11A? Am I likely to not get a 1st choice meal? There are no window seats in the main cabin, the only other window is 10K but I went for 11A based on the fact I don't have to clamber over anyone else to get out! What would your recommendations be?

Meal choices are not based on where you sit, I think 11A is a nice seat.

Agree that 11A is a nice seat - I usually book it due to its "no climb over" feature. I avoid 5A and 5K in the forward cabin on the 48J 777 due to the missing window.

How does it work CIHY? I had assumed, as probably the OP has, that the cabin crew take meal orders starting from the top of the forward CW cabin and work their way down to the rear CW cabin.
