Just watched all three videos back to back! Looks great on there.

I am suprised at the takeoff performance of the A318! I guess she is lightly loaded for a flight to SNN.

Am now just waiting for someone to post a video of the approach from inside. Will be interesting to see what diversions come out of this route because the max permitted crosswind, including gusts is only 26kts

The cabin inside looks great also, nice and cosy feel to it I think.

And seens we are commenting on other passengers, whoever is across the aisle from you seems quite happy to be filmed smiling everytime you point the camera at him!

Were there any women on these flights - aside from crew?
The lounge shots seem to indicate not.

Wasn't there a woman sitting next to him?

Aah must have missed that. Thanks for the great videos by the way - really makes me want to try the service out.

I love the shiny white seat pods

Great videos: thanks for recording and then posting them here. Were the buildings on the right of the plane out the windows as you took off the modern dormitories that won some architectural awards? I seem to remember seeing a photo of them recently somewhere else.

If you have any other footage of the ground experience, please put it up. Always interested in seeing more of LCY/SNN/JFK as relates to this service. Many thanks again!

One more observation: is LCY unique in making planes taxi down the actual runway and then turn around for take off? I've never seen that happen elsewhere.

No, it's typical of smaller airports with one runway and no separate taxiway. LTN comes to mind (though the taxiing is only halfway).

It also depends on the wind, of course. Landing at LCY from the east means that you almost park at the end of the runway. And when they change just before touchdown and you go around, the surge and climb are alarming.

How do you know he was ignoring the safety briefing? No film during briefing was posted as far as I can tell.

If one really believed that a video camera could endanger a plane during take-off/landing would one ever get on a plane at all?

Cheer up, go and have a Scotch and try not to think about it any more...
