There is a long haul thread, but could not see a short haul one. Just had my LHR to TLS flight cancelled on 6 June. Do BA systemically do schedule updates around this time of year for the following summer season, and if so, when would they likely be finished. I don't want to book another flight only for it to be cancelled again. BTW full refund was very easy to do online for cancelled flight.

You don't need to accept a refund - you can leaving it hanging as long as you like, and then book onto another service which suits. And no price difference, so if the next flight you choose was more expensive then you can move to it for free

As someone who is in and out of TLS a couple of times a year, this is very common - as mikeyfly has said, wait and see - I have had a flight cancelled and then re-instated months later on this route,

Looks like the BA Cityflyer EDI-OLB flights have been dumped. Just had a cancellation through. EDI-EAS seems to remain at the moment.

GLA-PMI for summer 2026
BA starting a direct service between GLA-PMI once weekly on a Saturday, from May to September 2026 (not a charter) bookable now, including reward seats.

no, there are always cityflyer weekend routes to the regions because lcy has limited availability on the weekend.

They chop and change the routes on different timetable periods depending where aircraft and crew are scheduled to end up on a friday evening

Nice was hoping to use my soon-to-be-achieved companion voucher on this but will now have to stump up extra Avios for the LHR/LCY connection which doesnt even work some days!

STR gone
Looks like STR has disappeared from BA's summer schedule 2026. Apparently cancellation emails have gone out, and new flights can no longer be booked.

Bit of a shame. I fondly remember the terraces lounge and the three flights a day. It was a pretty steady decline, probably even before Covid.

Stuttgart, Germany for anyone unfamiliar with airport codes.

Yikes, what a shame. Was thinking of using that route in the next year or so to go to the Porsche Museum.

Yes, confirmed - I received my email this morning, stating that my June trip has been cancelled.

That's a shame - BA has definitely been pulling back a bit from Germany. Stuttgart is a lovely city.

I lived in Germany for five years, and spent two years of it travelling all over the country with a Bahncard 100 (unlimited travel). Stuttgart was my favourite large city.
