can confirm this now, one guest is fine in to the lounge and ccd. ggl in any cabin can do this, they don't have to be in F.Originally Posted by drewbythesea
As GGL, flying F, are you able to take 1 guest "( who is on the same BA flight) into the new Concorde Dining Room ? Same as CCR in LHR... or is it different?
Current menu for ccd

Travelling on the 17.10 departure on Monday. Any idea what time the bag drop opens in MIA? Looking forward to using the lounge but don’t want to arrive before desks open

I'm in Miami now and can confirm that the boards behind the BA desk said Check In starts at 2pm BUT it was 1315 when I asked if I could check in for the later 10pm flight and they were already checking people in. BA staff said 6pm for the BA208 but then I overheard two staff members talking and they said 530pm - will update later what happens.Originally Posted by Mancredflyer

EOA - I joined the queue at 5.05pm and there were already about 4 groups of people in front of me (one family of 3 who had enough suitcases to fill the aircraft on their own, They caused absolute chaos at both the First and club desks and ended up being asked to move to one side. The station manager stood at the front of the Club desk and shouted to ask if everyone in the queue was in Club - which they were. He then pointedly said that check in didn't open until 3 hours before but as they had baggage belt problems earlier in the day 4 of his agents would be checking people in. I was through security with TSA Pre and into the lounge by 1733. It was all very confusing,
The lounge is a huge improvement on the old one but sadly some of the clientele leave a lot to be desired and sadly no Prickly Margaritas as they had run out of syrup. The staff are really lovely and very proud to be working in "thheir" lounge.

Seems to be staffed mainly by a team of three guys and if anyone from BA is reading this, my waiter was one of the three who joined a little later than the others so hasn't tried all of the dishes yet - please solve this

Quoting the pictures because I had those exact dishes there on Nov 5th on your recommendation and they were gorgeous Originally Posted by neothecat

The wagyu beef really stood out !
my desert was the bread and butter pudding which accidentally came out with custard but when mentioned, they quickly came out with a side of vanilla ice cream for me
The room is tiny, mostly alcoves on the side walls of seating for 2 ,with one larger table that can seat 6 very tightly
if if I were to criticise 2 things about this, you will hear everybodys conversation
Unlike AAs flagship dining room, theres no door closed between the room and the rest of the business lounge,so anyone heading to the loo and showers can peer in and see everyone
This is a bad design flaw
here is my bread and butter pudding and wine choice, that delicious Malbec

For me the best lounge in the whole BA portfolio right now. Fantastic lounge.

surprised no Royal Air Maroc yet.
Wondering if anyone flying on AT has tried to gain access since November and whether they were admitted. I have a J flight on AT coming up and would like to try the BA lounge since RAM departures are right around the corner, rather than trek from the FL lounge. Google and Perplexity searches return conflicting info.Originally Posted by MAH4546

[Mod edit: AT is the airline code for Royal Air Maroc (RAM)]
Oh dear. The lounge is cute, but the Concorde dining is way, way too small. There are 6 tables for two, plus one that can fit five, plus two sets of two armchairs in front of the window. With a 14-seat first class cabin, and several passengers travelling solo, as well as acccess for GGL plus guests, its a recipe for disaster (I spotted a list at the front desk with GGL written and the names, around 10 on the flight). The dining room was packed, and disgruntled eligible passengers were being turned away. Not well thought through.

Yeah, other than the obvious that the A380 F cabin is the largest (and is only losing 2 seats when refurbished) it seems that the way they have sliced GGL in the new BAC whilst it might have led to a small reduction in overall members they are more concentrated in high value routes (including MIA and DXB where the newest lounges are) both as business and leisure travellers.Originally Posted by flying_pig
