yes if your flight is cancelled for any tickets issued by 23 May and for travel 7 May to 25 October, you can be rebooked on an El Al service between TLV and LON. You can also be rebooked onto a BA operating service connecting to any of these LY services: TLV-AMS / AMS-TLV, TLV-LON / LON-TLV, TLV-ATH / ATH-TLV, TLV-MAD / MAD-TLV, TLV-BCN / BCN-TLV, TLV-MIL / MIL-TLV, TLV-LCA / LCA-TLV, and TLV-PAR / PAR-TLV.
Flight was issued ON 23 May.
Travel is AFTER 25 October
so not covered by above.
What about UK261 for flight cancelation?
It was a 07:00 flight and BA are only offering 20:20 flight landing 03:25!! with different flight number
Thanks

you won't be due compensation if that's what you mean.

i would just wait for now. the policy has been updated many times since the current situation began, so at some point your dates are likely to be covered by the el al rebook policy. just do not accept the offered ba rebook for now.

ok. well by all means call now but i suspect you will only be offered ba options for now. invoking UK261 rights over the phone won't get you anywhere.
as i suggest, be patient and you should get the el al options in due course. just don't accept anything for now.

Would your advice be the same for me, even though my flight was due to depart on 4th August (see post above)
I've tried on three different occasions to get a rebooking and each time i've been told there is nothing available and my only option is a refund - Which surely is against UK261? Due to one of the passengers being a teacher, only certain dates work due to school term time - I've happily suggested going on other dates in late 2025 or event 2026, but i've been told nothing is available availble for a rebooking on this route...

So my flight ticket was booked on 5th June - for travel in August - i.e. after 23rd May so doesn't fall within their current policy... and all calls or chats to BA have resulted in them saying only a refund is an iption which I know shouldn't be the case...

I just want to be sure I understand the process. I am going to buy a TLV to LHR ticket for October 28th. I understand that there are risks the flight may not operate as it only begins Oct 26th. Is the refund automatic? What do I need to do to obtain a refund? I'm prepared for needing a non BA backup but wouldn't buy until later/closer to departure.

I think that was an error in ba.com which they fixed, I benefitted from a 12.50 business class ticket - it showed the full price, but only charged the European RWS price.
