First First
I flew BA First for the first time today, LHR DFW on the A380. I've travelled in first class on many other airlines, including many of those that folks would feel are "the top", within the last year. Perhaps it was my low expectations but I was very pleasantly surprised by the experience. One missed drink order in the dining room in the CCR but once I moved out to the terrace the service was proactive and frequent. If there was a car transfer to the aircraft it would make it so much more competitive. Onboard the cabin crew were just excellent, could not ask for better service from the very experienced crew members. Just wanted to provide a point that they can still do it well even if it's not all the time!

Of course they can do well and I am sure most people would have a good experience but when you compare it with other airlines F class BA is lagging behind. For example some recent examples where BA under caters even in F class is pathetic. BA F class was and still is a J+ product and I dont think BA really cares as long as the flights are full and people keep buying it.

I have always found service in BA First Class to be very good. Food generally high quality. Wine selection sometimes does not quite hit the mark. Beds perhaps a little smaller than the competition, but I have always been able to a good sleep. Terminal 5 Check in and lounger excellent. At the right price I will fly BA First without hesitation.
