First or Club World London City?
I have a trip to New York in a couple of months and need to decide between First or CWLC.
The price is the same for the I class fare (although for F I will have to add 20k avios). I have done the CWLC service earlier this year and loved it but never tried F on the 747 plus without those 210 TPs from the City service the decision isn't so clear cut.

Do you need to sleep? If so the LCY flight is around an hour longer and I find that makes all the difference! If not then I'd take F.

I'd definitely go F. ^

CWLCY
Saves the 18k or 22k Avios. I personally prefer the seat to First. Also if you go for a Wednesday the flight is usually half empty. CWLCY is so close to first in my opinion that I'd rather save the avios for a J to F UUA on another route.

Where do you live in relation to LHR and LCY? How long does it take you to get to both?
You should factor that into your calculation.
Wasn't there a comparison on total journey times for both LHR and LCY flights that some one did?

I live about 15 minutes from LCY so that is attractive I must admit.

Hmm not good! 11 bottles only works out at about a third bottle each with a full cabin. Good to see they re-stocked though. What was the load?

Which is what we did and if im honest I did too much, so much so I slept for over 3 hours on a LHR-BOS flight due to having over indulged in LPGS and Johnnie Blue in the CCR.

I have been guilty of overdoing it in the CCR myself, woke up with quite a hangover and still had a few hours to go.... It's actually an awful experience feeling sick on an aircraft and not being able to get off! Lesson learned!
