Where can I go for a lie in T5 airside (Long layover(8hrs)/traveling Y/SCH)
(Meant to put lie down in title)
Got a rather long layover in T5, I plan on leaving my luggage at a lounge (Left luggage). There used to be red sofas near escalators to the transit that people used to have a nap in but I haven't checked lately.
Anyone else know of anywhere else that may have a appropriate setting for a nap? In no rush to waste 40 on the new lounge.

Hi,
I have seen people sleeping on the sofas in the BA F lounge (not sure about the club lounge?)
How long is your layover?
You could go to T4 and use the yotel?
Regards

Have I mis-understood something here? What about those sofas on the right hand side of South Galleries Club? There are even pillows on the nearby shelves.

I've only been to GC south once and I've never any some pillows. I shall head there after my flight and do some looking around! Thank you!

Not helpful at LHR, but I had an eight hour layover in MAD and was so pleased that the IB lounge in T4S had a "sleeping room" that had individual sofa-like beds for people to sleep on. The room is dark and comes with an eyemask, earbuds and an individual lamp.
I was never so happy in a lounge and got 6 hours sleep.

Back to the OP, the newly opened Aspire lounge in T5 has "rest pods" with recliners. Available to Priority Club members, and non-members of a fee.
