Not helpful at LHR, but I had an eight hour layover in MAD and was so pleased that the IB lounge in T4S had a "sleeping room" that had individual sofa-like beds for people to sleep on. The room is dark and comes with an eyemask, earbuds and an individual lamp.

I was never so happy in a lounge and got 6 hours sleep.
