How long til a flight is "cancel-able" online?

I booked a US one way segment today and stupidly booked myself instead of fiancee. There's still 8+ seats for award, so I'm not too worried about availability, but it's ticketed and I can't cancel online yet. When I click cancellation options, it says:

"We are unable to process a refund for you online. Please contact us for all refund enquiries."

I've canceled US flights online before, and would prefer not to wait on hold to cancel it if possible...

Any idea how long til I'll be able to do it online?

24 hours. Unless GGL: 35 charge (?)

Or call up for free cancellation within 24 hours.
