Hi,

The wife and I are heading to Rio de Janeiro in 2.5 weeks and have been watching the news regarding the election in Brazil.

Anyone know of any issues we should be expecting in Rio?

It’s not a party for fans of the losing side but overall the election was a big nothing burger. And that’s a good thing. Lula won as expected. Some minor incidents afterwards. Life goes on.

I will be in Rio on the 16th for a couple of days. Fully expect to be involved in debates with my Brazilian friends.
