Ceará - suggestions for visit
I plan on visiting this state in April, Easter weekend. I am looking for a beach locale but am not interested in Fortaleza, somewhere quiet, good places to eat, and a nice pousada or hotel. We will have a car. Any suggestions?

It's a lovely coastline most anywhere you end up.
Canoa Quebrada is among the popular beach destinations,but would be busy on a holiday weekend.
And of course, Jericoacoara. There's now an airport there to fly into.

Take the car to Jeri, or use Fortaleza as a base, you can visit Morro Branco beach, or go further south. Don't expect peace and quiet though, on any beaches near Fortaleza, I'm not sure about Jeri.

Try Paracuru, a really nice quiet town with good hotels and restaurants. Favorite place for surfers and lovely beaches! Paracuru is approx one hour by car from Fortaleza.
