Rio this June
Well, I am of to Rio on June 12th, for a long week end to celebrate my birthday. Last time I was there was 6 years ago. At that time I was working for Starwood so I always had a cheap room at one of the Sheraton. Man, now I can only find rooms over Ł100( June 13th- June 16th). I have found something called RIOYOURAPARTMENT. Any thoughts?
Also, last time I was there I went to Marius, this time I was told to try PoarcaoRio; My budget for the night,2, is wine and champagne Ł200/250.
Would this be enough?
Thank you

(BTW, for anybody who's not familiar with Brazil you DO NOT TIP in restaurants. The 10% service charge is the tip. There are a handful of exceptions [Rascal, for example] but they will still present a bill for you to accept the service charge.)
They have a pretty large wine list which has a decent variety of Brazilian Reds at less than R$100 per bottle, and also some Portuguese, Argentine and Chilean ones in that range, even a handful of Spanish. The Brazilian sparklers are pretty good an some are less than R$80.
In short you can eat there well within your budget but do NOT order mixed drinks nor be careless with the wine list.
They also have a location in Ipanema that is the same without the view.
I rate them well above Marius. Not everyone does.
