This is a real big problem not only for the 2014 Soccer Tournment but the 2016 Olympics as well. Using a military base at BH does nothing because the events are held in Rio. And GIG is not ready for a huge influx of paxs.

There are games in Minas as well. The World Cup stages games all over the host country (ies) (Korea and Japan hosted, remember) so major stadium, hotel and airport infrastructure improvements are needed everywhere.

This thread has just begun, but will have the entire story once hardiwv finishes all the research, for which we should be grateful to him.
