DC errors

I booked a z8 to z2 F award booking. Should have been 25k miles. They deducted 35k miles - I had to phone twice to get that corrected.

I have just logged into my DC account and noticed that they have just deducted the 25k miles again

My last award they also deducted the miles twice.

Why can't they get these things right the first time. I'm fed up with having to call to get these things sorted.

Not right now. She left an 'out of office' on the forum a few days ago asking for pms not be sent to her while she is away but instead to be sent at the official dc email address.

it get worse. It seems they took 25k miles + 270 cash for an award flight with LH which I put on hold but never confirmed or paid for. I subsequently booked a different award on the same date, but they are saying I must have confirmed the other one (I didn't )

Apparently they will no have to trawl through the phone recordings to try and trace the calls. Meanwhile I will have to dispute the charge with MBNA I suppose.

How did they get your credit card number if you hadn't paid or confirmed?

I made several bookings that day which I did confirm - they used that card.

It seems they only 'ticketed' that flight the day of the flight itself, hence I didn't have a chance to 'cancel' it.

lets hope they can locate the taped conversations.
