John
Just wondered if anyone else has flown with "john" - he's an older, slightly camp (in the nicest way) GLA based senior BMI cabin crew.
Have flown on a couple of his flights now and always joke with him about the "pride" badge he wore on his jacket (which he's lost!).
He operated BD6 on the 3rd and as always ran the show with amazing attention to detail, grace and good humour - indeed the entire crew were laughing and chatting with the pax all the way up. It's guys and gals like him that keep me flying with BD...

Ah......that'll be John Forsyth then.
Yes, totally agree, John has a great sense of humour and is an excellent no 1. He can really camp it up tremendously. Surprisingly, I've heard a rumour that he's married, with kids.

Ah I thought this thread was about bmi as an airline being a john.
Sadly, it is about an actual bmi employee (seems like a real person) doing their job well (what are the odds).

I do think this is a bit unfair. My own experience of hundreds of BMI flights over the years is that the staff have been friendly, experienced and professional. Very rarely do I meet someone "not doing their job well." Sure, many of them are a bit demoralised at modular madness, but most of them just carry on regardless...

Also I personally find bmi employees at outstations (like GLA,EDI,MAN etc) much more helpful than those at LHR.
