Just to let you know that I shall not be travelling with you in future
You will lose 2 premium fares
to BA
the reason for change is the down grading of your service EDI/LHR and the whole attitude of the staff including customer relations
why should customers have to pay to talk to call centre staff in Mumbie to enquire about missing luggage
the response and treatment of this matter was deplorable
bye bye for ever bmi

Umm sorry, but as the new unofficial BMI Spokesman I would like to point out that they carried out a 10,000 person survey, & quite frankly your views are in an extreme minority - & judging by your other posts previously...well you're just obviously not being serious & will be removed from the feedback we present Nigel.

bye bye bmi
Tristan
thanks for your comments
as you are now the unofficial bmi spokesman (whatever that means)
I care not whether you remove me from whatever you state you will do you clearly do not like free speech and other peoples views and by the way this was my first post on this forum
i have been a good customer to bmi over many years and i wished to share my feelings with forum members who might feel they are seeing the end of a good airline and the transfer to a cheap no frills operation with a could not care less attitude to customers and service
nigel
i am 100% serious you clearly do not like negative feedback
i find your comments offensive and this will probably be my first and last post
bye bye
jon

Welcome to FT symington.
I think you'll find tristan was being sarcastic and was not having a pop at you. Unfortunately he forgot to use one of the smileys to show this.
Please continue to post, you'll find you pick up the black humour of this board in no time.

oh dear, I hope Jon Symington hasn't now left us forever, furious with my reply, without reading Manflyer's or my follow-up post? This could get ugly if he sends off an offical complaint to DC or some Consumer Watchie thing.

As an 'occasional' BMI flyer I have to agree. Soon there will only be one 'proper' airline left in the UK. Just hope Willie Walsh remembers what his customers really, really want!

bye bye
Perhaps you should re-ask the 10000 customers - after they realise the non check thru of luggage to onward international flights - that they have implemented!!! BMI to me is now no longer any use as a connector flight - (use tside/lhr 3 times a year or so) unless Im prepared to wait for hours at the connection point!!! I would have thought they should honour the * alliance flight connections - does anyone know if they will book thru *alliance luggage??? if not you may aswell use a cheap thrills operator!! - Im very sad as BMI was my no 1 airline and I was going to switch my ff from United to BMi - not now!!!
