Hello and what do you think........
Hi its good to find a group of like minded BD points collectors. Can anyone see a problem with renting a car from Avis (triple points before the end of the month) and picking up 4500 miles for Ł42.12 (Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 from 11 till 4 Mon 30th)
Seems a good deal. Is there a snag?
Regard
Al

Seems like a very good deal, all things considered.
I'd just confirm with the reservations agent that the rate qualifies for miles. It ought to, but there's no harm in asking - how disappointed would you be if it didn't qualify?

I can confirm that you get 4500 destination miles, once a booking is made through the bmi website. Extract from my online statement for one hire from Bristol (made up for travelling with Easyjet
)and one from Heathrow:
18/06/2003 AV CCC - A21 3000 0
18/06/2003 AV CCC - BRS 1500 0
20/06/2003 AV CCC - A21 3000 0
20/06/2003 AV CCC - LHR 1500 0
The hire at Bristol was Ł49.12, the LHR one was seventy-something (better class of car and I ticked the extra insurance etc.)
