point differences

Just a query, I'm flying to Perth this summer and have noticed there are some differences in the points earned with diamond club for the same LHR-PER flight, for example

Lauda (170+15)=185
New Zealand (150+150+30)=330
Thai (170+170)=340
Air Canada (195+195)=390
United=400

Now, does this mean that if I book a flight, for example with NZ but with a UA flight code that I would earn 400 points instead of 330, or do I actually have to fly with UA?

A perennial problem. I've always been told it is the operator rather than the ticketed carrier but if you phone Diamond Club and argue your case you can get this changed.
