Problem getting SK flight credited

Hi, I have a problem getting a SAS flght credited, got this email today from Bmi

Thank you for your recent claim for destinations miles.

The diamond club scheme gives members the opportunity to earn miles not only with bmi but also with our partners for travel, hotel stays and car rental. Unfortunately, the evidence you supplied, even though with a Star Alliance partner flight number, is from a codeshare flight operated by Air Malta, which is not one of our partners. The operating carrier has to be a partner with bmi and not the Star Alliance partner for you to be able to earn destinations miles.
The flight in question is SK 1846 from Malta to Stockholm, bought on Sas.com, flown on SK Metal, with SK e-ticket number. It is not Air Maila at all, the only thing is that the boarding pass has Air Malta logo on it, since the check in kiosk at Malta is handled by them.

I am quite sure I am not mistaken here, or am I?

I would not be so persistant about it if it not was that the missing miles would make me gold member, and I really want to be that due to the M&M merger.

I am sending in a letter again, however now the original boarding pass Bmi already have.

a) Am I mistaken?
b) Any ideas what to do?

Best regards
Ola

If you're sure your're correct, reply to them, saying that it's a 100% SK flight and ask them again to credit the miles.

Why not provide them with ACARS data proving that the flight movement (ie the plane) was SAS operated? I'm not an ACARS head, but there are a few in these parts...

SK flightnumber, SK aircraft too.

Going back through to the start of the ACARS database (which is 25/07/2010), this service has always been operated by an LN- registration aircraft.
