Refunds
Greetings,
I am wondering about the return policy and processing at bmi; more specifically (1) are there ANY fees with refunds (e.g. refunding economy refundable fares?), (2) how long do refund processing take, (3) how long does it take for the funds to get transferred to cc (4) can one request refunds online or does one have to call?
I would love to hear from anyone with experience dealing with bmi refunds. Thanks!

Timescale varies widely. Given the current situation, and the backlog of tens of thousands of cases, I would say two months was a realistic estimate. The quicker you submit (ie today) the better on that score.

According to the EU regulations refunds resulting from the cancellation of a flight by the Airline should be dealt with within 7 days - when I cancelled my day trip to MAN i was advised that the refund would take "around 5 to 10 days "
