Avis AARP enhanced liability coverage limits have been reduced!
I just got off the phone with an Avis representative in the corporate offices in Virginia Beach, and alas, the Avis AARP liability coverage limits have, in fact, been reduced from 100/300/50 to 25/50/10, the figures that now appears on the AARP website. The Avis rep apologized for the fact that the Avis site still lists the higher liability limits which, as of January 1, 2008, no longer apply. She said that Avis is in the process of updating its website to reflect the corrected limits.
