I just booked a rental in Kansas City online for 4 days and the C302100 code saved me about 46.00 for a 3.5 day rental. The C062090 code was 3.00 more for the same rental.

"See counter"
"See Counter" ... that's what no one wants to read on the Avis Preferred board next to their name.
I used C302100 and I was asked for company identification at the Avis Preferred counter in LAX this early morning. She didn't mention Bombardier. Just "company identification". I said I left it at home, the response was "So you don't even have your business cards on you?" I stood my ground, but in the end got denied the rate. I was offered $25/day excess which they'll waive if I can provide a letter from "my company" upon return of the vehicle, which states that I am an employee. $25/day penalty is not tragic, but it was a very uncomfortable situation. I understand that my case might have been an off-chance where this kind of verification/check took place, but I would still advise caution. |
LAX airport is definitely one of the smarter ones...

Welcome to FT, and thanks for the informative first post! And what company would that be so when people are asked at the rental counter they know who to say they work for? :D
It does give a signifigant discount. |

Oh annoying! It appears LAX are wise! Or perhaps it was mere coincidence...?
Does anyone have any EU codes that work, im looking to book a car for 5 days in Stockholm, Sweden and so far cant get any codes to give any discount other than a measly £5 saved... A few even made it more expensive! I have used the code mentioned before H811101 on a one way JFK to ATL booking for a roadtrip in October and saved a few hundred pounds as well as getting full LDW coverage for the booking! Unfortunately this deal has now ended :( Any ideas? :) |
Hello all...anyone have a coupon code for 3 nights or more rentals weekday?
|
I feel like due to the size and location, LAX airport gets more "unauthorised" corporate code rentals than other locations.

Curious if anyone actually had success with renting transactions either using this code (C062090) or the other discovered "Bombardier" code (C302100), without any questions from rental counter staff -- and even if you're an Avis Preferred customer? Both offer utterly fantastic rates for weekly rentals.

Looking for a single day rate code to use while in Las Vegas in August. Staying at New York New York (Avis QN4 location). Any recommendations? I've tried costco and a few others, and it's roughly $73 a day. Anything better?
