Anyone help me with getting a good rate on the cheapest car for a 2 day rental form AMS on 2/3 june. Best I can get is 124 Euros.

You're right -- AMS rentals do appear to be very expensive those days.
Picking up in the city rather than at AMS is often slightly cheaper.
I had good luck for short trips with EasyCar.
