Looking at a rental from YYZ for 3 weeks in July 2021. SUV would be good. I am resident in the UK.
On Avis UK I can get a GMC Arcadia for £2,575. Avis CA asks for my country of residence. If I put my residence as CA, I can get a Dodge Dorango for about C$1,200. If I enter UK as my residence, the Dorango vanishes and the cheapest is a Hyundai Tuscon at C$3,985 which is probably too small. There is a Jeep Grand Cherokee for C$4,510. On Avis UK The Grand Cherokee is £2,496.
These prices seem really inconsistent? The Doge at C$1,200 would probably be fine but I can't book unless I use Avis CA and claim to be a resident of Canada?? Can I do that?
