Avis Partner Program AA
Hey there,
I rent cars a lot through work, usually Avis. I am attempting to use the American Airlines 500 bonus miles promo code, but when reserving I don't have a spot to enter my AA frequent flyer number. Is this normal or should there be somewhere to enter this information?
Thanks

You must have a login for avis.com OR you must call Avis to add OR you must do it when you pickup the car (ask them to add the number) OR you must book via the aa.com website (https://www.aa.com/car).

Welcome to FLyerTalk, dishere2003.
Do you mean while making a new reservation, or while trying to modify a reservation made elsewhere?
While making a new reservation, assuming you get the new version of the website which was looks like it was designed for mobile use and desktop use combined (yuck!), after you select the car type, you get a Rental Options screen. It's at the very bottom of that, under "Additional Liability Insurance" (which is huge type), and titled "Frequent Travel Program for Miles/Point" (which is not so huge type). There's a dropdown field for Program Renter Name, and once you select that another field for Member Number.
Of course, if you're using a promo code or coupon, that goes in a separate place, on the first page. See the wiki of this thread:
for any AA promos going on right now.
