Lifemiles sales...
Hi All -
New to Avianca and Lifemiles. Anyone know how often they do the 2 for 1 miles sale? I just missed the recent promotion, but will be on the lookout for the next one. Curious to know if its once a year, every quarter, etc.

This morning I got an e-mail with another offer: "Take advantage of this 4 day promo: buy miles 2 for 1 and get up to 25% additional bonus.*"

1,450 miles is nearly as useless as 1000 miles. AV and Copa flog miles like noodles so you have to be aware that after they sell a billion with these promotions there will have to be a bit of a future liquidity issue using them unless they want to offer a lot of non revenue flights (non revenue being just points minus the amount they sold on these frequent sales)

Just checked my email and looks I too am targeted with 145% (June 18 - June 21). I do see a couple of intra-Europe routes using Swiss that seem to be pricing... differently (in my favor!) so I will do the math between buying miles and buying the tickets.

Did you try to buy some? The bonus doesn't show up until you say how many miles you wish to buy and move to the next screen. It then shows the bonus (if any)
