Will Asiana Check Baggage Through to Air China at LAX?
Hello,
I booked two separate tickets. The first one is with Asiana LAX-ICN-HKG. I then have a little less than 2 hours layover to transfer onto Air China HKG-PEK. Is it possible for me to check my luggage all the way to Beijing at LAX? Or do I have to recheck my luggage at HKG?
Similarly, will Air China check luggage through for my inbound trip to LAX? (Air China PEK - HKG, Asiana HKG-ICN-LAX)

I would give you a 10% chance that CA would do the same in reverse. CA doesn't normally tag bags even across their own flights if they are not on the same ticket. But YMMV.
