They probably got rid of it for 2 reasons (both my guesses and nothing official):
1) With KE moving to the new T2, the old KE lounge spaces are probably going to go to OZ. So there'll be a lot more room in the J lounge than the crowded zoo it can sometimes become right now.
2) They probably worked out that it wasn't worth it to them because of people "gaming the system"...I posted up on another thread in here that I was bemused at 4 middle-aged guys in the F lounge who came in, went straight to the bar, and proceeded to drink their way through the more expensive bottles of liquor there... have enough of those in a day and it's just not worth it for OZ :P
