Departure is usually pretty easy, from a customs/immigration standpoint.

Small world - we are at FS Jimbaran now after checking out of Andaz (yuck) after one night.

Capella and FS Jimbaran are both really special in different ways. You are in for a treat! pm me if you have any questions about either property.

data point -- didn't use a fasttrack or pick up service this time around. arrived from SIN around 7 pm. time from arrival to Vaccine check to VOA to immigration to luggage pick up to customs to car was approx 30 minutes. immigration line was approx 15 of that. any paid service didn't seem necessary IMO.

so right now it seems the official Bali fast track meet and greet at vfsevisa.id is around 130$ per person. and the only option available.

seem ludicrous. any recent experiences - are the waiting times worth it ?

I haven't been to Bali recently but yes it is worth it. I have paid for a non official fast track and the crowds were huge.

If you believe saving 30 minutes or so is worth the price of a night in 4-star hotel, then go for it.

$130 a person is totally ridiculous.

Agreed. I'd draw the line somewhere around $50-60 US.

I still see online offers for around $34 US. Can't tell if they're legit.

Most I would pay is 60 bucks per person. I went to Bali back in October. The immigration line took just over an hour.

Last summer JUL 2022
The only official service was
https://www.joumpa.com/#
Provided by Gapura Angkasa,
Indonesian airports operator / services

Fortunately:

Family reported still being able to book and use this service on 15 NOV 2022
They had a smooth experience arriving with KLM Economy from Amsterdam via Singapore
These were 2 eldery with limited English skills and they were assisted all the way.
No problems encountered with all stages.

NOTE:
LL seems to memtion this one provided by officials themselves
https://loyaltylobby.com/2022/10/20/...ration-online/
I have had no experiences or dealings with this new service so YMMV

Note 2:
Type in google: Bali + Immigration + Fasttrack
See the sheer volume of slick "bogus" undoubtable scammy sites......
And a lot of different pricing in $ / € / £
Caveat Emptor!

I think there are still some Fast-Track services (including VOA) still available but from what I heard it only saves about 30 minutes of queuing time, if it's worth it then go for it and enjoy Bali.

Did have fast track arranged for 11th Jan via Hyatt Regency. Just been informed that it is no longer available, from any provider, as a result of new airport policy

Let’s see how this works out.

i guess the glut of outfits creating $50 ViPs has spoiled it for the hotels attempting to cater for their own.

Just a data point for anyone heading to DPS. Arrive SQ944 around 7pm on Wednesday 11th June. Previously arranged Fast Track had been cancelled by hotel.

From aircraft door to hotel transfer car <20 minutes ! I was HBO and completed VOA & Customs Declaration in advance, just showing paperwork and QR code as required. And my time included +/- 5 mins of Customs interegation, by a spotty kid trying to find the next drug mule, and impress his boss. After convincing him it wasn't me (nail in coffin was showing him my business card, which he asked me for, when I was traveling as a tourist ? .... because a business card is hard to fake ? :O ) I told him he could keep my card as a souvenir

My driver thought I must have had Fast Track, when I told him no, he was very surprised as he was expecting a +1 hour from aircraft arrival.

I guess YMMV.

Overall good experience with Joumpa if anyone is looking at fast track service. Recommend by the above poster.

Received a WhatsApp message from the person that was going to meet up with me. Took me from international arrival, immigration, all the way through domestic check in, and to the Garuda domestic lounge. Even asked if I wanted an escort to my gate from the lounge. Great friendly service.

Would recommend and use again.
