~10 hours in MNL

I have roughly 10 hours landside in MNL next week. Land at 9 am and flight out is at 11 PM.
Any recommendations on good shopping? Don't mind to bargain so something like MBK mall in Bangkok would be great

Mall of Asia, and it's not (at least on a map) far from MNL.

I don't know the Bangkok place you mention, but if you want to bargain head to Quiapo. Not the best part of town though, so I wouldn't be dragging around carry-ons there. But if you've been to BKK I am guessing you have some experience.

Mall of Asia is easy to get to and more "westernized", not a bad choice either but not so much of a bargaining place IM(possibly outdated)O.

You also might have enough time to do the Corregidor tour if you're so inclined. My favorite thing to do in Manila by far, but not sure what time the boats leave in the a.m.

Anyone know how far it is from Hyatt Regency to Greenhills mall and how much taxi would cost to get there?

Depending on the time of the day (traffic), 40 to 60 minutes, around PHP500 to 600 fare.

This Hyatt is kinda old and not very close to the airport... I'm not sure if they have shuttles but I'd say skip it unless you wanna earn a stay/night credit.

Mall of Asia (MOA) is close, as well as Nayong Pilipino.... Better yet, you can spend the day at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig which is more modern and lot more Westernized than MOA and not as far as Shangri-La in Makati or Hyatt. At least 40 mins (without traffic) from Terminal 1.

Just read up on the 2 kinds of cabs you get though (the pricier airport taxis and the haggling white taxis).

Thanks. What are the hotels in MOA or BGC areas that you recommend?

In my opinion, the best hotel in the MOA area is Trader's Hotel. It's not the fanciest hotel, but it is a good solid hotel with a great location. There's a decent coffee shop in the lobby and an unlimited supply of cabs out front because it's on the main road.

The cab thing is important because a lot of hotels around there (for example, the Sofitel Manila) are off the beaten track and you can't get a cab to save your life. Of course the hotel will be happy to drive you in their car for triple the price. And if a cab pulls up to drop someone off, they won't take you unless you pay an extra fee.

Meanwhile back at Trader's if a cab driver gives you a hard time you can just get out of that cab and take the next one.
