Gym in San Telmo

Any recommendations for a place to work out? Something clean/safe/convenient. It needs to be walking distance from where I'll be, so it needs to be in San Telmo.

Thanks

Megatlon has many locations... not sure they have something in San Telmo, though.... is Puerto Madero too far away from you?

Part of it, yes. I'll check out where they are, though. (It may be more convenient to my place, but I'm not staying there on this trip. It is missing minor things like beds, lights, A/C, )

You could probably get a good workout walking to the nearest Megatlon: http://www.megatlon.com

There is one on Peru on the corner of Venezuela, there is another really big one, with a pool on Balcarce and Venezuela, and as I recall it was the much nicer of the two.

Thanks. Both are very convenient. (Do you stay on that side of town? Or on the other side which I'm not important enough to go to? )

Being a high roller in La Isla we do not discuss spoof-juice in polite company

I didn't see one on Peru esq. Venezuela (but then, no sleep can do that do you), but I saw the other one, which looks quite large.

That is the one to go for, much the better of the two, maybe the other one has gone bye bye.

Not to interfere (although it is my thread you are hijacking), but don't insult the fine wine I'm drinking tonight. On night 1 here, as I didn't sleep on the plane, I'm having a "home" evening of empanadas, alfajores, and a passable chablis that the supermercado had on oferta for AR$5.65 a bottle.

Yes, and somehow I finished the entire bottle, and went to sleep It was harmless and cold, and served as my "arrival day workout" (keeping the thread's theme alive). Jumbo on a Saturday afternoon buying all the electronics/kitchen stuff for a new apartment was the Saturday workout. (Gym substitutes )

After an entire bottle I would not describe the result as going to sleep, does Passing Out seem like a more appropriate description? And I find gym substitutes to be very effective in combating unnecessary muscular discomfort (working out)
