Sounds like you had a great time, TIVAgal !!!
Glad it all worked out. I think we might have overlapped at the Park Hyatt - you were probably arriving as we were departing. I've been going to BA for well over a decade and have stayed in various places around town. However, we've become a bit accustomed to using the PH as our base these days so I'm not sure if we'll ever venture away from it on future visits :-) |

Is that mobile number something you're comfortable sharing? If not, no worries. I'm just heading back for the first time since 2019 (yay!), and would love to get good sushi. Staying in Palermo Viejo, fwiw.
Here is a photo that my friend had posted when I referenced the original caption. Lastly, there’s lots of good sushi in Buenos Aires, I’m just not a fan of Philadelphia (cream cheese and sushi) Enjoy! https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...63d71582d8.png |

Be careful what you wish for. Have you ever had good sushi in Buenos Aires? (No joke - just wondering.)
I’m gonna reach out to my friend’s wife.. we went to a sit down place in Recoleta and there was no Philadelphia there and it was a really nice spot. I’ll revert once I hear back from her |

I just sent you a PM (just didn’t feel too comfortable giving out the number publicly) Especially since I haven’t been there before myself. Bear in mind it’s to go only. Palermo Viejo is a great part of town. I typically stay there as well.

Do people recommend the Taxi Ezeiza website for advance booking for rides from EZE? I usually just go to the airport kiosk, but notice there's also a web option. I'll be bringing ARS, if that makes a difference. TIA

Why add another layer of uncertainty or explanation or follow up. In the kiosk area as you exit the x-ray machines the desks are always manned and they’ll escort you out to a waiting car. Those ARS you have in your pocket are clearly not worth what they once were. But if you have enough that’s great!

Hi all, very excited to visit BA for my first time shortly.
Question about changing money. No issues for me to exchange USD to ARS, I'm interested in what I do if I have excess cash. Could I exchange excess ARS at the official rate, just to get rid of it? Would I have access to this official rate as a foreigner? Understand there's a $200 cap. Don't anticipate having higher than that left over. TIA |

TIA The Duty Free shops have US$ pricing but I would expect that the conversion for your cash pesos is at the official rate. |

TIA As Eastbay1K says, it's best to use them up in local stores or at the duty free shop at the airport. |
