Why don't people, including FT Members and Moderators turn themselves into authorities for participating in the blue rate exchange between dollars and pesos? Afterall, aren't they breaking the law and should face the consequences? Is there a contradiction or irony here?
All the above, however, does not mean that the OP should be excused for not observing local laws. The OP has confessed to speeding..... what more is there to say...?
If this thread is about how to get away with breaking the rules that is one thing.... but as I posted above, I would be very interested in knowing how the OP acts in a similar situation when he/she is back home.

You should pay - sell your ticket to a hedge fund - and have them go after Argentina's assets for repayment.
