Check in at AEP
Dear Friends,
I am planning a trip to Argentina and have a flight booked from AEP to USH (AR operated).
The AR site is confusing about chek in opening and closing.
The flight is early in the morning, I guess at 7:35.
Have you any idea what time chek in does open and close ?
Second : is there any Skyteam lounge airside at AEP ?
Thanks in advance.

britenbsas is certainly correct in his observations above (both about lounge and size of AEP). I would simply add that even for flights in early-morning (or middle of night) AEP can still be very busy, as there are often lots of flights leaving even at obscure hours. I wouldn't cut it closer than 1.5 hours, and might tend towards 2 hours.
As you're asking about lounge access, I presume you're either a SkyTeam Elite Plus, or in a premium cabin. That may or may not speed things up, as last time I was in AEP there were not really different lines (or if there were, the premium lines didn't have anyone working in them!). If you have things like additional baggage as well, for instance (entitled by Elite Plus status) you may have to explain to the AR check-in staff that you are indeed entitled to an extra 10 or 20 kg over the very minimal 20 kg that your ticket says. All these matters of SkyTeam seem rather new to them...

AEP does indeed have separate counters for Premium Cabin Pax, so you will not have to face the extra long lines if the airport is busy that day. There are various flights that operate earlier than yours, so you will have counters open very early at AEP.
In you case, even if you have bags I think that showing up earlier than 90 minutes before your flight time is overkill, however, Ive traveled enough to know that each flyer has his/her own comfort zone when it comes to time cushions.....
Cant say about lounge access at AEP, although with their inclusion into SkyTeam, it would be shameful if AR didnt have at least a "salon basura" to show at AeroParque... then again, it is Aerolineas so nothing should amaze.....

There's a private lounge to the right of the LAN counters, which are to the right of the Aerolineas counters. I checked it out last year, its small and cramped with uncomfortable looking furniture, not worth the price of joining. I'm not aware of any other clubs, after 100+ visits to AEP I've looked everywhere, there's no comfortable place to wait for an Aerolineas flight.
