Please leave the city neat and tidy. Thank you. Unless you are still there when I arrive. Then please keep it neat and tidy during your stay. And spray, spray, spray.

Yeah it is: http://www.epa.gov/pesticides/factsh...icals/deet.htm

Slight lull in the mozzie numbers but they're still about.

I was caught with my guard down today and got bitten.

I learnt that lesson last year....when there are mozzies about baggy shorts and boxer shorts are not a good combination when seated outside for any length of time.

The blighters were very active today in the countryside.

Is that because Recoleta is a "posh" district?

Trust me.... if there is one thing in life thats truly democratic and does not discriminate, then think Mozzies. These buggers dont give a damn if you are a billionaire or a homeless lumpen... all they care about is B&B (biting and blood).....

Good news....the mozzies are in decline.

Bad news for anyone coming on holiday....it's got decidedly chilly here. Bring some woolly jumpers with you.

Yes, if they do bite they always send a handwritten thank-you note immediately afterwards.

But the serious answer is that I believe whole of Capital is heavily sprayed.
