WARNING....The mozzies are horrendous this year.

After the drought came the rain then more rain and now the mozzies have come out in force.
In all my years of visiting and living here I have never known them to be so bad.....at least in my area. There's thousands of the little devils just waiting to bite and suck up blood. The recent cold snap has done nothing to get rid of them either.....in fact it seems to have made them even more voracious.

Stock up on the repellent.

Given the dengue problem in the north, not a bad idea. I don't know if anyone has been diagnosed with actually having contracted dengue in BA or close surrounds, or if all the cases are contracted from further north and surrounding countries (Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil).

I was out in the countryside yesterday and the mozzies were really out in force despite the strong sun. I was using Off...the extra strength one rather than the normal variety and it kept the buggers at bay. ^

I haven't heard any reports of dengue even from up north.

So I'm guessing my trip up the Parana delta is going to be mosquito infested. Oh joy of joys!

Depends when you arrive....I reckon we have a good few weeks yet before they start to die down. More rain forecast for next week won't help either.

If you don't smoke a pipe I suggest you start doing so now.
