Another AN/DJ Spat
Ansett has kicked out Virgin Blue out of its Canberra terminal, so that DJ pax have to collect their baggage from the kerb.
Have a look here, http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/story_21598.asp
Is this really the right thing to do, or at least the best way to go about it? They starve themselves of more revenue, do themselves no favours in terms of PR, and S340s aren't that attractive compared to new 737NGs.
Cheers,
Justin

While I see this as a hardline from Tesna, especially as they're currently not using the terminal, (the certainly could have handeled it better in any case), I also see it as very poor planning from DJ
After all, until last Tuesday, Friday was the planned startup date for a Tesna run AN, and had that been the case, surely DJ should have known they would have to vacate the terminal, and *should* have had other arrangements in place before it happened.

And DJ gets all the sympathy, just when AN needs it most.
