In the past the offerings on Metroliner FC were the basically same as that which is offered on Acela FC. Now with hot meals recently restored on Acela, I haven't yet heard if the same was done for Metroliner service. However, my guess would be that they are offering the same, as it just makes more work to have two different services.
Regardless of the hot food issue, you will certainly get a meal served to you and free drinks and booze.

Yes, and no.
The wine glasses are back. Last week they were serving small bottles (175 ml?) of Linderman.
The hot entrees are now in a higher-quality look-like-china plastic containers. Last week they were sevrving lamb shank or pasta. The pasta was really awful and I don't eat lamb.
You get real stainless-steel utensils.
