Posting tier points

So on December 6 I completed the trip that should push me "over the top" for select status. My next trip is tomorrow, and I wanted to have the select status reflected in my profile so that I can begin to take advantage of its benefits.

I called AGR customer service and was told that there was no way he could post tier points - I explained the situation (and indeed, this is something that Starwood, AA, UA and others have done for me in the past) and he said that no one in the call center has the ability to post tier points; only the "processing group" in New York. Of course, he said there is no way to call there.

Has anyone had any success in this area? It'd be a shame to miss out on my benefits tomorrow simply because their system takes forever to post.

Thanks in advance,
Lewis

No Select Benefits

There are really no benefits that you would be receiving at the train station or on board after making Select, so you aren't missing out on anything if the system hasn't posted your previous trip.

The 25 percent Select bonus will post on your account automatically assuming this trip posts after your previous trip. Upgrades all require the paper coupon that will be mailed to you about 6 - 8 weeks after you make Select.
