its a strange lounge. I believe its AMEX's only airport lounge in the world. The amenities were not half bad though.

I also noticed there were two other clubs in Mexico City beyond security. One was billed as a Platinum AMEX club, did not check entry requirements on that one. Another one one appeared to be Centurion only close to the 32-33 gates which had complimentary massages. Apparently that one is operated in conjunction with the Marquis Reforma.
There are at least two other ones. One in Sao Paulo (GRU) and one in Buenos Aires (EZE). Not sure about entry with a gold card in those however.
Also their may be others in Mexico (Guadalajara or MTY). Can anybody confirm this.

There is also one at the Rio De Janiero Airport. Located at the end of the domestic checkin.

I wonder why Amex seems to have these lounges primarily in Latin America. A few throughout Europe and Asia would be welcome though the last time I was in the one at EZE it was pretty awful.

I went to that Mexico City one last summer, the inner Centurion lounge is an odd one.
You first get into the main Amex lounge, which when I was there was filled with families and kids running about, total chaos. When I showed my cent card someone came and escorted me into the strange "inner" room.
It isn't that big, maybe 30' by 30' or so, just a square with a private television and lots of drinks and snacks. I was the only one in there for a while until someone else came in and sat down. Occasionally a staff person would come by and ask if I wanted anything and they would go and get it. The hot food and other stuff had to be fetched by a staffer from the main lounge. Regular snacks and drinks were available in the room.
Everyone in the regular lounge stares as you walk in and out of that room. It's just this strange "box" in the middle of the regular lounge. Kooky.

Today I was at the Centurion Club in Monterrey Mexico.. Small club but saved the day in a terminal that has few amenities. My flight was canceled and had to wait for 4 hours for the next flight to DFW. The club is small but has fantastic service and free booze and small bite foods, all complimentary. Fantastic and recurring service as well. !! I took some pictures and will post them l8r.
cheers..

The AmEx lounge at CGH does indeed give access to Gold card holders. (Cent, Plat & Gold)

Since there are different clubs I will try to change this thread to be a general Centurion Club Thread.

Incidentally, I have always travelled alone and wondered if they let someone who is travelling with you into the clubs. Anyone know?

IIRC at GRU the Gold card gets you in, Plat gets you in with 2 guests, and Cent gets you in with as many guests as you want.

As promised here are some pictures from the MTY one last week. Sorry for the quality but these are off my iphone. It really saved my bacon as there is no AC or any other lounge except Aeromexico. It is located beneath gates 7-8. There are stairs in the middle of the terminal to go down and then 2 VIP rooms below (Aeromexico and AMEX).
Entrance:
Cards listed: Centurion, Plat, Gld, and one other (Delta Plat ??). Also you can have guests something like 8,6,2,0 respectively in order. It says it under the card but you can're really read from the pictures.
You can see how small it is. I was sitting one row from the end (where the TV is. There are some areas outside of the frame, but you can see the food service area and entrance straight ahead.
Two computer terminals with internet access as well as free wifi.
The service was very good and they had a full bar + some finger foods all complimentary. I gave them a $5 tip but that was optional however.
Here are the best links that I found about these clubs. It appears there is not a lot of information on them.

I was able to get the mods to change the thread title so we can use this as a general thread for the Centurion Airport Clubs (last count EZE,GDA,GRU,GIG,MEX,MTY). I anyone has any further information please post.

Not sure how to get the images to embed, I checked my profile and I had the embedd option turned on.
