The Centurion® Card Exclusively for Goldman Sachs?

Since when does the Centurion have an investment bank variant? I know the Goldman Sachs Platinum but I thought the Centurion was only vanilla Personal or Business or Corporate. A quick google search and I can't find any info about this variant, not even a photo.

Just thought I'd share. Given you have to be a GS PWM client ($10M in investable assets with GS) to get invited for the Platinum, that would probably make the GS Centurion the hardest AMEX to get, even harder than the vanilla Centurion and Business Centurion.

Does it? If so, who cares?

They've had it for a while. It's still a "vanilla" Centurion. No GW logo in front.

I guess none of you have watched modern family tv show when the father Jay gets comped to the Excelsior level of the casino resort only to find out later they have a higher level called Excelsior+ that is a floor above. That's how life is. I can assure you someone has a card from Amex that gets more done and has better phone number etc. and you do not have it. Just when you fly in your G500 and you see a bright G650 on the tarmac when you land and see a Global Express and then a 737 biz. You just can not use any of these benefits when you are buried in the ground.

I don’t consider any Goldman Sachs connection an “upgrade”. More like a trade off...

I dunno. Usually when I've flown corporate it's great going point to point, but way less comfortable than J in a 787.
