Expiring TF

I have two $100 separate TFs ($200 total TF) that expire in about a week, and I cannot fly anywhere. What can I do?
What are my options for this $200 TFs?

I would research Travel Fund use and expiration topics in the Southwest Airlines forum, rather than the American Express forum. Here are some threads, and there are others:

12/1 Booked two fares both $105.48
12/2 Canceled both for travel fare
12/4 Triggered reimbursement for $105.48 and $94.52

I was initially concerned that this wouldn't work considering my fares both exceeded $100

Back in the days when gift cards worked, I remember we had to book on the webpage.

does it matter these days if we use the app or webpage for booking sub-$100 flights?

Any DP for this? I have tried a $98.98 charge last 12/2 but no credit yet. I have used webpage.

Credit worked for Amex Gold last Nov. Still waiting for the platinum.

Have you received credit from Amex?

11/20 - Charges confirmed in Amex

So far no move in ticker and no reimbursement either. Hopefully this works.

Did your reimbursement come in? And when did it come in and when did your ticker move?

Here's my timeline so far (Plat):

12/6: Purchased two sep OW tickets for $103.98 each
12/8: Charges posted, meter did NOT move

Does this mean it won't be reimbursed?

No, it means that the American Express batch process has not yet seen the transaction. The purchase doesn't exist for reimbursement purposes until it posts, which just happened today. Remain patient.

in my experience it takes 1 to days for the meter to move and the reimbursement within a day or 2 after.

Amex Platinum $200 Travel Credit (WN)... terms state have to book through Amex portal. I cannot book two -$100 tix directly with WN to get credit? Will Amex rescind credit if I cancel tix down the road? Sorry if this question has been answered already in this thread.

You have posted in a thread discussing the $200 Airline Fee Reimbursement benefit, which has existed for ten years. Are you asking about this benefit -or- the new, separate American Express Travel benefit, which happens to also be $200, and is discussed here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/amer...31-2021-a.html ? The "Amex Travel" benefit applies only if you book through American Express Travel.

If I do this now on my new plat, I can't convert the travel funds to points correct?
