Prepaid Stay with Marriott-qualify for Offer?
I have added an offer to my AmEx Plat for $60 off on a Marriott stay of over $300 before 10/25/18. I have a stay that checks in on the 25th for a few days. If I prepay for the stay ahead of time, will it trigger the offer? If not, I’ll use another card. Tia.

The key is when the charge is posted as some of my prepaid stays didn't get charged until I actually stayed at the hotel.

Yep. I bought a $300 Marriott GC walking into a local hotel and buying at the front desk and it triggered both the Amex offer and the $300 SPG luxury credit. Took a few tries to find a Marriott that sold gift cards however.

For those of you who used an ATT offer for MR points, triggering email of redeemed offer, how long after that did you receive points?
And for those of you who used an ATT offer for $ credit, how long after that did you receive the credit?

On my PRG, I only got the separate offer for an extra point, and I'm pretty sure that will stack with the upcoming $10 monthly credit.

I saw a 10k MR offer if you spend $500+ at Prada. The terms didn't specifically say "no gift cards" so I'm thinking I might purchase a gift card and resell it online and even if I take a small loss on the gift card (like $50 or whatever) that'll still be $50 for 10,000 MR. Anyone tried anything similar in the past?

presumably why many started saying they exclude e gift cards
also many online offers started saying no in store pickup

the offer didn't exclude physical gift cards purchased in store and there are multiple prada boutiques near me so egift cards or in store pick ups aren't much of an issue for

If you knew how to read between the lines you wouldn't have to make a post about it for it to be the next nail the hammer falls on.

posting is irrelevant, its how many people do it that impacts whether terms change in next offer (obviously different situation when top ~3 blogs post offers considering number of readers)
