I went to use my $50 off yesterday and the sales associate was shocked that such an offer existed...she thought it was too good to be true. So she had to call her manager to verify it was valid. Then they proceeded to spend 30 minutes figuring out how to scan it into the system. I used 2 of them and they asked me if I had more so that they could use them as well

By the way you don't need to pay with your Amex Plat so they are fully transferable if you are not using them.

I tried the $50 off coupon last night online and it didn't work. However, the 20% was still working even though it has expired. I'll try again tonight.

Received the offer in the mail today the 19th. The 20% off has already expired.
Tried to use the $50 coupon for a variety of different things including a gift card but the code doesn't work. I tried both the promo code and the bar code but nada.
I live in BC so no local store to go too

I just spoke with an amex customer service rep and she acknowledged that they had problems. they have thus extended to 20% offer validity to the 23rd (or 24th, i can't remember what she said.) just use the same code.

My mistake in trying to order a gift card as beep88 is correct they are not permitted.
However I tried to order a shirt by Quicksilver not on sale with a price of $65 and the coupon was not accepted. Also tried to order a Woolrich shirt and again the $50 coupon was not accepted. Neither of these items were on the excluded list.
Has anyone been able to place an on-Line order and had the coupon accepted?

on what card is the 11 digit number are you referring to? the little flyer that i received has two business card sized cards that can be popped out but they have 12 digits under the bar codes.

Go through checkout.. and put that in the gift card entry (same page you enter your credit card info)
