Oh wow, that's awesome. I assumed that we had to rebook travel before voucher expired. Redepositing would be great! Do you think the leniency was because they were Anytime awards and not the more restrictive ones?
I wasn't sure what to expect but didn't ask any questions when that was offered. Thanks! |

Did you call meeting services to do this?
Thanks! |
I called meeting services yesterday. They returned a BX7B certificate expiring on Dec 31st, 2020 and gave a new 2-year expiration period for the 7,200 points which were credited.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get a flight credited from BA (on 125 stock)? I requested credit on the 26th and just wondering if it's a couple week process or I should call. I'm assuming everything will take longer due to current conditions but appreciate any recent data points.

Same question, but for BA flights (mainline & Comair) on 001 stock. |
This may sound crazy, but for your BA prime flights u have to go to BA.com and enter your BE #. And even crazier, for IB prime flights you have to go to BA.com also. And this whether you have an AA issued ticket or not and have put ur BE number into the reservation.

The points post 2-4 weeks after my requests. |
My BA flights (BA Stock tickets) did not post for a few days after the flight. Requested points credit via email. Was told it will take 5-8 weeks to post.
Now, it is 8 weeks. Emailed them again...but, no response (they are likely very busy with the global crisis). |

Same. All of my BA flights in 2020 have failed to post.
Any word on expiring points being extended due to COVID-19? The BusinessExtrAA team did reply saying the credit request is still under review. They also said they have not made decisions about extending the expiry of points. I hope they extend the expiry. |
Hello all,
Need to submit a request for some flights in late 2019, but I do not have the ticket numbers anymore (emails are deleted and PNRs have been expired). Has anyone had luck with calling AA to get ticket numbers, or is this information purged from their systems? |

Honestly, I do this every time and for about the past four months nothing credits without making a request via the web site.

it would be great if they would extend all points expiring this year
I'm going to end the year with points expiring that I probably won't be able to use. |
